Q Speech Critique "How to Make a Tourniquet" Watch the video above. This is a good example of the demonstration speech that you will be uploading on July 3. I want to focus on structure and organization since that is the focus of today’s module, but I’d also like you to critique his delivery using the Demonstration Speech Rubric that I use when I critique your speech (volume, tone, rate, enunciation, introduction, conclusion, clarity, etc.) Using terminology from the text, what type of organizing pattern is he using? How do you know? What does he do to tell the audience what the structure of his speech is? What might he have done differently? Post your initial 250-word critique (10-points) and two follow-up postings (5-points each).

Using the demonstration speech rubric I rate his speech a 140/160. He presents his information very well, knows exactly what he is talking about without stuttering too much. It looks like he maintains eye contact with his classmates throughout the entire time which means he has their attention. He could however maybe speak a little louder just to make sure people are able to hear clearly in the back room. He showed proper hand gestures as he was explaining how to make a tourniquet and how to use it. He did sound confident in his speech making it seem like he has done this before and he knows he does a good job at it.
